OPTIMUM FINANCIAL SECURITY WITH THE “GARANT CONTRACT“

Bettink Service & Onderhoud’s Garant Contract is a completely unique, new concept in the wind energy branch. This contract provides owners of wind turbines with optimum financial security. We guarantee that your wind turbine will never be idle for more than two days! If it is, we compensate you for your production loss. You pay a fixed price for the contract, and in return, Bettink Service & Onderhoud takes care of the maintenance, repairs defects and carries out the statutory checks.

Wear included

amage resulting from wear is also covered by the Garant Contract. There will, therefore, never be any disagreements about whether payments will be made. Everything is covered without exceptions. During overhauls, we take preventive measures to avoid damage and this enables us to provide this service. We keep risks manageable by carrying out regular blade maintenance with the aid of a sky lift.

No deductions if we replace new parts for old

Damage to a part is often not fully reimbursed in the case of older wind turbines. A deduction is made to allow for the age of the part in question because, after all, the new part costs more than the older, defective one. Bettink Service & Onderhoud, however, does not make deductions when replacing old parts with new ones.

No obligation to stay with us for 5 years

There is no obligation to stay with Bettink Service & Onderhoud for 5 years. We conclude a Garant Contract for a minimum of 5 years, but if you are not satisfied with our services you are free to terminate the contract.

Insurance

The Garant Contract is the result of a unique partnership between Bettink Service & Onderhoud and an insurance company. We conclude an underlying insurance in which Bettink Service & Onderhoud is the insured. A certificate serves as proof that this insurance has actually been concluded. And policy excesses are not applicable.

Details of the Garant Contract

• Labour and materials for the planning and implementation of preventive maintenance.
• Labour and materials for corrective maintenance, including damage resulting from wear.
• Telephone assistance, both to the operator and directly to the wind turbine.
• Checks and inspections of equipment in the wind turbine that are required by law.
• Compensation of lost income if the wind turbine is idle as a result of a defect. The compensation term begins 48 hours after
• the owner has reported that the wind turbine is idle and will not exceed 26 successive weeks.
• You will be notified of all plannable activities 48 hours in advance.
• Fire damage and theft are insured.
• The medium voltage transformer is covered as a standard feature of the insurance.

• The following are excluded and are therefore for your own risk: In the event of a total write-off,   the current market value will be paid out. Periods exceeding 26 weeks for which the wind turbine is idle. Other usual exclusions such as floods, ground subsidence, etc. These conditions are explicitly described in the contract.
